The threat of storms was, according to the weather forecast, nigh on impossible to avoid but someone was smiling down on the North Norfolk wedding of Kathryn & Orlando earlier this Summer, for the rain only came during the wedding breakfast when everyone was indoors! A missing cat during the bridal preparations also tried to throw a spanner in the works but a search party was organised and the cat, who I am led to understand is something of an attention seeker, was found safe and well!
All Saints church at Morston has to be one of the most beautiful of churches along the North Norfolk coast and certainly one of the loveliest I have been to this year and it was the perfect setting for the happy couple. A garden reception at the family home, not far down the road, also made the most fantastic party afterward and being so close to Morston quay and marshes, it would have been criminal not to use these for a backdrop to the couple’s portraits as the sun went down on what was a truly magnificent day! It wasn’t the first time we’d been for a walk along the marshes together, we had spent some time in a similar spot for their pre-wedding photography but while we were blessed with some pretty good light on that occasion, this time around was simply magical!
We LOVE our wedding photos so much; they are just perfect and completely surpassed all expectations!
Rob was our wedding photographer and we cannot rate him highly enough. It was great to get to know Rob at our engagement shoot and thank you for all of your professional guidance beforehand. This made us feel completely at ease on the day. We LOVE our wedding photos so much; they are just perfect and completely surpassed all expectations! We would definitely recommend Rob, in fact a good friend of ours has already booked him for her wedding next year!
Thanks to Kathryn and Orlando for having me along. And a huge thank you to Cat Robson for her skills as my assistant for the day – Enjoy!
