Wedding Photography at Bruisyard Hall, Suffolk
This was my first time at Bruisyard Hall and it did not disappoint. It’s an incredibly beautiful Suffolk wedding venue, surrounded by stunning gardens and parkland. Indoor and outdoor it is a wedding photographer’s dream!
I began in the main Hall, photographing the Bridal party and the Groomsmen getting ready for the day ahead – there was a great atmosphere and you could feel the excitement growing as the morning progressed. Ashlea Gissing at The Beauty Box was on makeup and Elise Brabben on Hair.
The ceremony took place at St. Edmund’s in Southwold. Robyn and her dad travelled in a classic American Cadillac, listening to Elvis classics, a theme that continued as she walked up the aisle to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” being played on the church piano.
The sun was shining bright and the light inside the church was gorgeous- highlighting the detail in Robyn’s wedding dress perfectly. Ryan in his tuxedo looked incredibly suave and Robyn looked absolutely stunning, escorted up the aisle by her dad who was beaming with pride. The couple were full of smiles throughout the ceremony and after tying the knot they hopped in the Cadillac and made their way, as newlyweds, back to Bruisyard Hall.
The reception was wonderful and everyone was in high spirits. Jazz A La Mode provided musical entertainment while the drinks were flowing and ahead of some insanely funny speeches before the Robyn and Ryan made their way to the dance floor for their first dance and partied until the small hours!
“I loved Rob’s candid and relaxed photography. The pictures were something really important to me and I knew that I didn’t want to have too many staged photos; looking through Rob’s galleries I knew that he would get it.”
It was an absolute joy to be part of this day – much thanks to the happy couple for choosing me to capture it for them and a shout out to my second shooter, Craig McCaulay and to Trevor Fuller on video. It was a great team to work with. If you’re looking for a Suffolk Wedding Photographer to photograph your Bruisyard Hall wedding, look me up!
Here’s a few of my faves from the day – enjoy!

Yes, very glam! Dad is a big Elvis fan if I recall so the car and theme were 50’s rock and roll inspired!
Such beautiful images, love the one of the bride walking in the church and the reflection looking like a heart.
