Pre-Wedding and Engagement Photography
What is pre-wedding photography?
Pre-wedding sessions are informal photo shoots that work just as well in an urban setting, like Norwich, as they do in your local park or even in the comfort of your own home.
These in-love sessions are really laid back. They’re a lot of fun and I promise that any nerves you have at the start of your shoot will be long gone by the end. We’ll grab some coffee together and then do whatever takes your fancy. You can choose to go to the the beach or, a forest or, a cafe and a walk around town or, somewhere special to the two of you, like where you first met or got engaged.
We met Rob for our Engagement shoot in Norwich, which was a day filled with laughter cake and coffee, what more can you ask for, Rob made us feel instantly confident in choosing him as our wedding photographer.Annabelle & David
Getting to know you!
A great way to get used to being photographed ahead of the big day. I’d highly recommend this as a chance for us to get to know each other a little better and for you to get used to being in front of the camera. It’s also a great chance to get some truly unique images that can be used as save the dates, signing books, invites or, as table names, or, maybe, you just want some photos for the walls!
“Both my husband and I weren’t very confident in front of the camera so we had a pre wedding shoot with Rob, which really got us ready for the day itself, I’d definitely recommend.
We are so unbelievably happy with our wedding photos, and on the day Rob was brilliant, he captured everyone and everything exactly how the day felt and he was such a joy to be around! Our guests loved him just as much as we do!”Emily & Tom
Let’s have some fun
These shoots aren’t about stiff poses. That’s not my style. I’ll offer a little direction here and there but for the most part, it’s as simple as having some fun together and celebrating your engagement!
You can add more personality to your shoot by choosing a location that has meaning for you. Perhaps you would like to have the session where you first met or, shared your first kiss. Maybe your favourite beach or, a cosy cafe. It really is up to you but if you need me to help, whether you have pictured a romantic walk in the woods or, a stroll through Norwich, I have plenty of suggestions.
If I were to recommend Rob to my best friend I’d say DO IT! You will not regret it, you’ll get bubbly photographer, receive beautiful romantic portraits and stunning images that are bursting your wedding back to life so you can relive it again, and again! We definitely made the right decision!Sean & Charlotte
Let’s do this!
A typical engagement shoot would last an hour or so but ask anyone who has had one with me and they’ll tell you we tend to get carried away!
There’s often a few drinks and a catch up about your wedding plans but if you want to plan for something even longer, then just get in touch and tell me what you have in mind.
