Stag & Hen do Party ideas in Norwich and Norfolk

Wedding Planning Inspiration for Norwich & Norfolk

Before the big day!

The countdown is nearing an end, and the wedding day will soon be here… but amongst the seating deliberations, playlist scrutiny and accessory consideration there's an opportunity to party with your best mates - it’s time for your Hen and Stag (or Hag, as are becoming a trend) dos!

Are you planning a stag party in Norfolk?

Or, looking for hen party ideas in Norfolk?

Read on ....

Being a Norfolk/Norwich Wedding photographer, by the time I have my final meeting with the bride and groom I often hear all the details of their Hen-do and Stag-do activities which is brilliant - getting to know all about their personalities and how they let their hair down is great knowledge pre-wedding.

Of course, there’s bottomless brunch, karaoke, life drawing and paintball everywhere, but what have been the best unique ideas I’ve heard for Norwich and Norfolk Hen/Stags recently? Read on…

Snetterton Circuit

Perfect for petrolheads, the Snetterton 300 circuit hosts the British Touring Car Championship, British Superbike Championship and British F3 and GT Championships. Book a track day to get the adrenaline flowing!

Pub and a Paddle

Whether you’re an expert canoeist or have never paddled a canoe before, Pub and Paddle canoe trips are great for everyone and are a scenic way to get out in the fresh air, whilst also frequenting some local watering holes! Even those of you who have grown up in Norwich will be amazed at the unique feeling you get from paddling through, being on the water is a great way to see Norwich!

Watersports on the Broads

If you’re looking for a ‘broader’ variety of things to do, with the Norfolk Broads occupying a large proportion of the county, there isn’t much fun that can’t be had out on the water. Why not hire a yacht, a canal barge or a sailboat; or try paddle boarding; or kite surfing... it’s all to play for in Norfolk.

Norwich Ghost Tours

If you’re out and about near Halloween, see the spooky side of Norwich Cathedral, Norwich Castle, Elm Hill, Tombland and more on a Norwich Ghost Tour. Perfect for lots of giggles, stories and bonus points that it starts and finishes at a pub!

Beach Retreats

Here in Norfolk we have some of the BEST beaches, for summer frolics and BBQS, to watersports and boating trips. Grab yourself a beachfront party house with a hot-tub, and make the weekend your own! Top ideas include a private chef, butler and spa night!

Vineyard Tour and wine tasting

Believe it or not, near Norwich there are none other than 5 vineyards within a 10 mile radius! Winbirri, for example, hold “Vineyard Tour and Tasting Experience Days” from May to September where you will be guided by their experienced head winemaker, see and hear about the differences in the production methods of white wines, red wines, and English sparkling wines and finish off with a tasting of a selection of Winbirri wines. Cheers!

What have I missed? Let me know what the best do you’ve been on in Norfolk, and I’ll try and add it to the list!
