A Relaxed Garden Wedding in Norfolk

A Church & Garden Wedding near Norwich

Abby & Tom married at their local church, quite literally, a hop skip and a couple of jumps from Abby’s parents home which had been transformed for a relaxed garden wedding.

The weather was blazing. So, I was thankful for the ceremony and reception venues being so close together.

The vicar asked me to shoot from the back of the church. This meant I captured a different angle on the ceremony which I really enjoyed. My favorite shots include one of Tom looking down the aisle at Abby right before she walked in with her dad, and one of a little boy peeking out from behind his parents during a hymn. Those moments are what make wedding photography so special for me.

Back at their home, the party got going with live music from Abby’s brother on guitar and later an uproarious speech, courtesy of Tom’s brother that saw him get a proper roasting - all in good jest, of course! Just look at their mum’s face! It had me in stitches.

The drinking and dancing went long into the night and before the happy couple were lost entirely to the dancefloor, I took them for a very short walk to capture a handful of golden light portraits.

A perfect day - enjoy!
